Calvary Chapel Lockhart is a 501c3 non-profit organization. We’re a ministry, not a business.
Calvary Chapel Lockhart does not pass a plate during services, but we have a tithe box located by the door. No one should feel pressured or obligated to give
Jesus talked a lot about money. We’re pretty sure we don’t talk about it as much as we should, however we do trust our God to move in the hearts of His church and those He chooses. If you are compelled to give, we have made a way for you to give online.
We use Slack for the majority of our church-wide notifications, prayer requests and internal ministry-related communications. If you are part of a ministry group, part of our church, or just want to be part of the conversation then you should sign up right now!
The Calvary Chapel Lockhart warming shelter is not directly affiliated with the Caldwell County Homeless Coalition or their events.
When it gets cold outside we open our doors to those who have no warm place to rest. We offer warm meals, overnight accommodations and showers while temperatures remain at 35 and below.
Our mission is to offer a warm and peaceful sanctuary for those with nowhere to go during extreme weather. While ensuring their comfort, we will serve them with the same compassion and dedication that Christ showed the Church, demonstrating His love through our actions.
